Welcome to the ePotential ICT Goal Setting Workshop

This wiki contains materials and links to assist you in reviewing the ePotential Continuum and Resources and working towards creating your ICT goals.

ICT Goal Setting Activity:-

  1. Open the template ePotential Individual goal setting-2009.doc to record your ideas as you browse ePotential. Save the template under your own name and location.
  2. Go to the ePotential website and access your own ePotential continuum. Detailed access instructions are at the foot of this page.
  3. Enter your current ICT capability level for each Key Area into the goal setting template.
  4. Browse the ePotential Resources under each of the Key Areas according to your level in the continuum. Use the journal tool to make notes of resources of interest.
  5. Use the goal setting template to record 1-2 ideas from each area that you might like to work on.
  6. After reviewing all 7 Key Areas, decide on two goals for you to work on immediately. (One will be a Learning and Teaching goal, the other from one of the remaining Key Areas).
  7. Complete your goal setting sheet. This could be used to inform your Professional Development plan for ICT.

Recommended Collaborative Activity for Schools:

Share your goals online with your colleagues :

[Sugestion to ICT / PD co-ordinators - set up a wiki or a Google Doc to collate and share all your colleagues' ICT goals].

Teachers - copy and paste your goals into the online space setup for your school, if applicable
